Research Title: Real-time anxiety classification in virtual reality exposure therapy
Postdoctoral Researcher
Hello, I'm Deniz. I'm a Postdoctoral Researcher at Technological University of the Shannon. I am currently part of the EU TransMIXR team, which aims to bring innovative Extended Reality tools to cultural sector. My research interests include on-body physiological sensors, Artifical Intelligence, and Extended Reality. I am an avid gamer, so focussing on design choices that put the user first is very important for me. I am experienced in teaching and tutoring various computer science topics including Virtual Reality development, Web Development, Java programming and Python programming.
If you would like to work with me or learn more about my research, feel free to send me an email.
Project Title: Ignite the Immersive Media Sector by Enabling New Narrative Visions
The future of media experiences poses a series of thrilling challenges, and the maturity of eXtended Reality (XR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies provides a unique window of opportunity for the European Creative and Cultural Sector (CCS) to reimagine digital co-creation, interaction and engagement possibilities. In TRANSMIXR, we aim to create a range of human-centric tools for remote content production and consumption via social virtual reality.
